The program
Briefing & gear (20 min)
Meet at the Station Afriquia base, driving briefing, helmet and harness fitted to each rider.
Desert driving (2 h)
Ochre plateaus, riverbed crossings, climbs up to the widest viewpoints on the Atlas.
Tea break at camp (30 min)
Mint tea under a Berber tent — helmets off, time for photos.
Panoramic return (1 h)
A different loop home, so you don't retrace the morning's tracks.
How the half-day plays out
Meet at the base 30 minutes before departure for paperwork and gear handover. The safety briefing runs about 15 minutes: controls, braking, safe distance, guide signals. The first leg crosses the ochre plateaus and a dry riverbed, with a panoramic stop on the Atlas range. After roughly 1 h 30 of riding, you stop at the Berber camp for a mint tea and a few minutes in the shade. You then head out on a slightly more technical loop before returning to base. Total tour is 4 hours, including about 3 hours of actual driving.

Who this tour is for
The most complete option for riders who really want to feel the Agafay: the 4-hour rhythm strings together several landscapes without rushing. Families with kids from age 6 as passengers, teens from age 16 as drivers of the 4-seater. Couples who want to share a 2-seater buggy or ride a quad each. The camp break breaks the pace and gives less experienced riders a moment to breathe.

Morning or afternoon?
Both work. Morning: crisp light, cool temperatures. Afternoon: finish on the sunset. Your call.
Is lunch included?
No, just the tea break. Add a Berber lunch on request (+150 MAD/person, arrange in advance).
Do I need experience?
No. The briefing covers it, and the guide matches the pace of the group.
