Crossing the High Atlas
Climb into the High Atlas over a pass above 2,200 m and its high tracks: Berber villages, terraces and wide panoramas, before dropping to a seigneurial kasbah with cedar-and-zellige salons.
The off-road heart
The off-road heart of the route: the valley piste follows the old caravan road between earthen kasbahs, red cliffs and river fords. Past a hillside kasbah, to a great earthen ksar ablaze at sunset.
